In the middle of nowhere. This project has been unfolding for me over the past five years. During this time, I’ve encountered people who have lost their bearings, their sense of self, or their purpose — or are simply confused. Many of the photos do not show the main character's face, as stepping into the public eye is an insurmountable challenge for many of my subjects.
